On March 19, I had my first exam in MKT 351. No, it wasn't the type of exam that I mentioned in a prior post that was a cumulative effort that we used this clicker to register our answers on this screen for all of us to see how the majority answered for which question. This was an actual exam where we didn't know how the other classmates answered them. It consisted of 50 plus 5 extra credit questions. I studied very hard for that exam. I read each chapter that was going to be on the test three times. Also, he informed us which pages we should focus on. I read those pages another three times. When I took the exam, I was pleased that I was familiar with most of the questions. However, some of the questions were tricky. Overall, I think I did well in the exam.

On March 12, I performed a presentation with my group for MKT 351 class. I was very worried that we wouldn't be prepared for it. We at first had 5 groups members. One of them dropped the class. The other group member lets say put in a nice way has some issues. The most important meeting we had together which was on Tuesday the day before the presentation, she didn't even show up. One of our group members called her to find out if she was coming. She said due to her apartment not having any heat. She probably wouldn't be able to make it that day. She told her that she would call her back in about 10 minutes. After 30 minutes, we realized she wasn't going to call her back. I personally thought that excuse couldn't be anymore lame. Later, we decided to vote her out of the group because we had to know what everyone was doing for our presentation the next day and to prepare the powerpoint slides according to that. We went to the professor who was fortunately in his office, and he agreed with us. During the day of our presentation, I was very surprised that we did an excellent presentation. Afterwards several people in the class told us we did very well.

On Thursday March 6, I had ENG 384. I wanted to comment on the trials and tribulations that I had trying to put my web template together. First of all, I wanted to say that the professor's instructions on what we had to do on his web site were very clear. For the most part, I was able to follow step by step what I had to do. However, some things weren't coming out right that I didn't see that could encounter in his tutorials. Despite this thanks to the professor's great knowledge of the web, he was able to solve my problems. Also, now my web template is up and running.

On Wednesday February 27, I had my MKT 351 class. We were going to have a quiz that day. During the quiz we had a unique approach to it that I never had a professor do before. It was quite an interactive experience. The quiz was being shown on the screen through a projector which we would see the questions, and a clicker was given to us that would remotely feed the answer that we chose onto the screen. Then it would show the percentages we chose based on a, b, c, or d. After that we would right down the answer we chose and later hand it in. Unfortunately, the tests won't be like that. I wish all my classes could have tests in that way. It would take the pressure out of school.

Today, I will be meeting my group at 5:00 for my MKT 351 regarding a group assignment we have to do which I don't know what the heck we are supposed to do. I hope that some other members of the group do know what to do. Last week, we were supposed to meet at 5:00, but no one showed up. It would be a great disappointment if no one would show up today except me.

My Class Experiences_1

Yesterday, I completed my first homework assignment for MKT 351. I was so pleased with myself that I completed it. There was six questions that had to be answered for that assignment. When I was in class yesterday, I was told by my professor that we only had to do the first two questions. I didn't write much about the first two questions so hopefully he will consider that I work more in the other questions and give me a decent grade for that assignment.
